Motion, Solved ("we") publishes short physics and maths videos on YouTube and Instagram and runs this website, motionsolved.eu. Motion, Solved is operated by Hamza BEN TAIEB EI, trading as Strait Systems, who is the data controller (see the legal notice). Contact: hello@motionsolved.eu.
This website
- No accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no cookies.
- No third-party fonts or scripts: everything is served from our own server.
- Our web server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, requested page, time) for up to 30 days, for security and troubleshooting. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
Our publishing tools
We use a self-hosted scheduling tool and two apps registered under the name "Motion, Solved Publisher", one with Meta and one with Google, only to publish videos to our own accounts: our YouTube channel, our Instagram account and the Facebook Page linked to it. The apps do not log visitors in and do not collect information about the people who watch our videos.
The access keys for our own accounts are stored on our own server, hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, and are used only to upload, schedule and manage our posts and to read basic statistics about them.
Google and YouTube
- Our app uses the YouTube API Services. By watching or interacting with our videos you are also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
- The Google user data our app accesses is that of our own Google account and channel: the account's name, email address and profile picture, the channel's details, and the videos we upload. It is used only to upload and manage our own videos. It is not sold, not shared with anyone, not used for advertising and not used to train AI models.
- Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Access can be revoked at any time from Google's security settings. When it is revoked or no longer needed, we delete the stored keys.
Instagram and Facebook
If you like, comment on or message our posts, that information is held by Meta under Meta's privacy policy. The same applies to YouTube comments, which are held by Google. We read public comments to reply and to correct mistakes. We may view aggregate statistics (such as views or reach) that the platforms provide to account owners.
If you email us, we keep the message and your address only as long as needed to answer and follow up, and we don't add you to any mailing list.
Your rights
We don't keep personal data about our audience. Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase or object to the processing of any personal data we hold about you. Write to hello@motionsolved.eu or see data deletion. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL, or to the authority in your country.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and the date above.
